Downtown Walla Walla Foundation Welcomes Incoming Board of Directors for 2026

Building on 40 Years of Downtown Leadership

The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation (DWWF) is proud to welcome new and returning voices to its 2026 Board of Directors.

The 2026 board brings together individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, all united by a shared love for downtown Walla Walla. Among them are entrepreneurs and property owners, educators and administrators, nonprofit leaders, and creative professionals who reflect the many perspectives within our community.

“I’m thrilled to welcome our incoming board to the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation. Together our passion, vision and commitment to community will play a vital role in keeping downtown vibrant and thriving. I’m excited to see the positive impact we will create together.”

— Bethany Applegate, Board President

Much of DWWF’s work happens behind the scenes, but the results are visible every day in thriving businesses, community events, and the welcoming spaces where people gather. With this board’s leadership, we’re ready to carry that work forward.

“I’m grateful for the chance to work alongside people who love this community. The combination of new energy and longtime commitment reminds us that downtown has always been strengthened by many voices coming together.”

— Mallory Nash, Executive Director

In the year ahead, the board will serve as stewards alongside the community by listening, collaborating, and helping to guide downtown’s future. Their work will focus on supporting local businesses, encouraging participation, and nurturing the sense of place that makes downtown Walla Walla special.

Downtown belongs to all of us. With the leadership of this board, the dedication of local businesses, and the care of neighbors and visitors, DWWF is proud to keep building the next chapter of downtown Walla Walla together.
