On Wednesday, September 10, Whitman students, faculty, and staff are invited to explore downtown Walla Walla with a special one-night passport event. Enjoy live music from DJ Hugo at Heritage Square, visit local businesses, collect stamps, and take home a Walla Walla Welcome Bag.
This community celebration connects the Whitman campus with the heart of downtown, bringing people together to share experiences, discover new favorites, and enjoy the best of what Walla Walla has to offer.

Promoted through DWWF marketing channels
Attendees (Whitman students, faculty, and staff) will visit during the event
200 Welcome Bags for completed passports, filled with gift cards, swag, and items from participating businesses
To participate, you must:
Be open from 5–7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10
Share something fun or interesting about your business
Optional:
Include a small item for the Welcome Bag (coupon, sticker, flyer, or other lightweight giveaway)
Match our $5 gift card purchase to double the number of cards for attendees
Sign-up deadline: Friday, August 22, 2025 (required to be included on the printed map).

Visit at least five participating businesses and learn something new at each stop
Collect stamps at each location
Return your completed passport at Heritage Park to claim a Walla Walla Welcome Bag with local goodies
