About Us

We are the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and nationally accredited Main Street program. We champion our historic downtown by supporting local businesses, preserving cultural and historic assets, enhancing public spaces, and fostering meaningful community connections.

For over 40 years, we have worked alongside business owners, residents, civic leaders, and community partners to ensure that downtown Walla Walla remains the heart of the community.

We believe that everyone deserves a place to feel welcome, to contribute, and to thrive. That is what downtown is—more than a collection of buildings, it is where neighbors meet, small businesses grow, and shared traditions come to life.

Guided by the proven Four Point Main Street Approach, Outreach, Promotion, Design, and Economic Vitality, we work with the community to strengthen local identity, support a resilient economy, and ensure that downtown Walla Walla continues to be a place for everyone.
