Summer Concert Series: Rod Giles Band

  • Heritage Square Park 116 East Main Street Walla Walla, WA, 99362 United States (map)

Please join us for free live music from two bands every Saturday night through September 6.

Get ready for a night of soulful blues and high-powered rock with the Rod Giles Band, a standout trio from the Pacific Northwest. Led by veteran guitarist and vocalist Rod Giles, the band delivers a rich blend of British rock, Chicago blues, and Texas-style groove — steeped in tradition but alive with fresh energy.

Rod’s guitar work and expressive vocals are rooted in the influences of Robben Ford, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimi Hendrix. With decades of stage experience, including time as lead guitarist for the Lil Howlin Wolf Band, he brings authenticity and mastery to every performance.

Mark Felix rounds out the band on bass and vocals and Ty Paulsen on drums — a tight rhythm section that drives the sound with precision and passion. Their recent album, Soul Thing, showcases their range and dedication to the craft, featuring tracks full of grit, soul, and feel.

Don’t miss this chance to catch the Rod Giles Band live in Walla Walla — a must-see for fans of blues, rock, and everything in between.
