BIG JOE is Gwen Marbet, Tessa Schwartz, Mya Snyder, and Aidan Tribolet -- four Whitman College students with a shared passion for bluegrass and folk music.

Some of the band members have been involved in the bluegrass scene for years, while for others, Big Joe is their first time getting to share the music they love with their friends. All of them couple a deep respect for tradition with an innovative spirit, blending traditional, contemporary, and original material in a set that is just as fun for the performers as it is for the audience!
